Child Safety Standards
Effective: April 19, 2026
Votifo is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users and takes a zero-tolerance stance toward content that sexually exploits, endangers, or abuses minors (CSAE).
1. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on Votifo and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities:

Any content that sexually exploits or abuses minors
•
Poll titles, descriptions, or options that sexualise, demean, or endanger children
•
Images or media that constitute child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
•
Any attempt to use Votifo to groom, solicit, or contact minors for illicit purposes
2. Age Requirement
Votifo requires all users to be at least 16 years of age. Date of birth is collected during onboarding and used to enforce this requirement. Users who indicate they are under 16 are not permitted to create an account.
3. Reporting
Any user can report content or another user directly within the app using the report button available on every poll and profile. Reports are reviewed promptly by our moderation team.

4. Detection & Enforcement
•
All user reports related to minors are treated as high priority and reviewed within 24 hours
•
Accounts found to have posted CSAE content are permanently suspended and the content is removed immediately
•
Where required by law, we report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline
•
We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations involving the safety of minors
5. Platform Design Safeguards
•
Polls are public by default only to registered users aged 16+
•
User profiles do not expose contact information publicly
•
Direct messaging is not available — Votifo is a polling platform, not a chat app
